Snow Much Fun Snow Mobiling and Christmas Eve

 Snow mobiling was quite and adventure with Uncle Bryce and Uncle Greg from near fatal almost running over of kids (greg), to getting thrown off (me), to getting stuck (greg) to losing tim's new Iphone (me) and then miraculously finding it the next day thanks to Olivia's grandpa.  Tim's broken hand and subsequent back spasm and Audrey being sick.  It was a memory, much to soon to consider a good one.  but we will take the best part, family together and time spent with our new baby cousin Suki

 Christmas Eve, I got off early and instead of going to work on the house for the Christmas Eve party I went directly out to play in the Snow you always have time to clean a house and it always gets messy but snow melts and kids grow we don't always have time for those things and the party went as planned and the house was a mess afterward like usual.  And then Christmas day the house was a mess, and then the next day when family came into town the house was still messier sooo I'm glad I took the time to play.

Christmas Tree Hunting

 Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas tree. 

Every year for the last 4 or 5 we have gone to the woods to pick a tree and dragged it out.  It is a great tradition.  we go the day after thanksgiving, this year we went on the Saturday after thanksgiving.  We were not able to decorate it for a week though because we were putting in our wood floors.  So our tree went up late but we still had our tradition. 

A favorite tradition of ours is reading Christmas books.  We collect one each year, we are building up quite the collection.  Our favorites include Christmas Oranges, A Candle in the Window and A Dress of Ellen.  The girls all wait for me to cry as I am reading because I always do.

Thanksgiving 2013

 This is picture day, we had planned a picnic but the canyon was so cold we got out of there and went to barbacoa

 We saw a little lion along the way.  Our little butterfly had to investigate.  They had a little conversation and then.  They left just like that







Vampires are scary

Trick or Treating.  Is great fun we love the trunk or treat.  Tons of candy less time and fun for the parents on the street

 Mountain Biking just the two of us, It was fun and a bit crazy for me.  Tim is crazy picks the roughs trails

 24th of July or Pioneer Day we decided to take ourselves up to the canyon, to live like pioneers for a day.  It was fun, but we left our roasting sticks (shoot)

Bear Lake again for this year.  Our new favorite place.  This time Bryce and Kimberly came up and I got to go running with two brothers and a sister.  I started out running with greg and in the end I even winded Bryce our Marathon winner.

Hiking to the G.  We have never done this before.   It was a challenge with 5 kids but we made it and returned home for shaved ice.  It tasted all the better, having hiked in the hot sun.
